Co-Owner and Executive Chef Chad Browning has competed in Memphis in May – placing 3rd in chicken, 5th in pork, 8th in ribs – and in other regional barbecue competitions in the state of Tennessee and Maryland. Chad graduated culinary school in 2012 from the Art Institute in Nashville, TN where he then worked alongside his mentors Chef Tabor Luckey and Nathaniel Beaver who own three restaurants and five special event centers in Nashville, TN. Chef Browning worked for the catering and restaurant business for five years, finishing his corporate career as an executive chef at the infamous 12th & Porter.
