Things To Do This Weekend In & Around Wilson County
I haven’t driven on snow or ice in YEARS, so this past week has been quite the adventure! Now that warmer weather is gracing us for the weekend, I’m ready to get out of the house and explore! Here are some things to do this weekend in and around WilCo to help you and your family thaw out…
Daddy Daughter Date Night
A Daddy Daughter date night will be held this Saturday at Imagine That Art Studio! The event, located at 404 N. Castle Heights Ave., Suite H. in Lebanon, will consist of you and your date creating individual paintings that combine to form one precious work of art. The image to be painted is seen here (above) called ‘Owl love you forever’. A ticket for this event is $50 per Dad and Daughter duo (or $60 for Dads with two daughters) and includes a meal from Taters! **Spaces are Limited, so be on the look out for more Daddy Daughter Date Nights soon!**
Get Outside at Long Hunter State Park!
This weekend’s temperatures will inspire you to get outside and enjoy the milder weather here in Wilson County. So grab the family and head to Long Hunter State Park for one of two hiking opportunities. Both opportunities are FREE, but guests are asked to please register in advance.
Inland Trail Hike: Sunday, January 21st at 11:00AM
Hikers will meet in the area 4 parking lot and then enjoy a short hike around the inland trail! The approximately 1 mile trail will be a great opportunity to enjoy this weekend’s weather, but be sure to wear proper footwear as trails will be a little muddy due to this week’s melted snow.
